goodguy9544
I purchased a 2006 Milan in Michigan and when I got back to South Dakota (where we are required to have front and back plates) there was no bracket on the front. I went in to the dealership and was sold a plastic license plate holder, which also included two, two-and-half inch long pop rivets (?) It seems like there is nowhere to put these on the grill. Any suggestions would be appreciate. Or other thoughts on alternative solutions? Thanks.

If you hold the bracket up to your bumper, you should be able to see exactly how it mates up. You can either drill holes in the bumper and use the pop rivets, or just purchase some screws and screw the bracket right into the bumper. If it is still not clear to you, I would recommend you go to your local Ford Dealer and take a look at the Fusions on the lot. Actually, that may be a good idea either way. Good luck. :beerchug: Edited September 26, 2008 by bbf2530
Drake
I hate states that require front plates. To me it just seems like another quick cash just because they can.
Ralph Greene
There may be an aftermarket company making a bracket that bolts on, so you don't have to drill the front bumper. Check E Bay and do a google search. I found one for a new Mustang on E bay.
