Mower Man
I have a 2008 Ford F-150 regular cab. It seems like I either have full heat or no heat. Is anyone else having this issue? The fan motor is working properly.

sullivanbob2000
I just had this issue repaired 2 weeks ago. They have to replace the blend door and motor. It took me 2 times to have the proper repair done. They first tried to repair the beld door gasket, worked for 2 months. The second time I went in, they decided to replace the blend door and door motor. They will have to order the parts. It is working great now. I thought I was goiung crazy for a while. Did they have to tear the dash apart?
jimproz
Whatever you do, make sure you don't have the HVAC controls all the way over to the left or right of the temp. Back them off at least a 1/4". I was told by a good guy at my local dealer that the blend door actuator will keep trying to open the door if it's set all the way to 1 side or the other. I tore my blend door actuator apart after replacing with a new one and was shocked to see how small and cheap the plastic gears are. That's what wears them out prematurely.
