F150 Production

As everyone now knows it looks like NAP is going to be closed/idled by 2008. This of course still has to be agreed upon by the international folks since NAP was not on the original closing list. The question I have for everyone at NAP, KCAP, and DTP is this. What models of the F-150 does everyone currently build? There are a total of 7 different models if I am not mistaken and they are: XL, STX, XLT, FX4, Lariat, Harley, and King Ranch. There is also a third model that was scheduled to be built by NAP (allegedly) being the FX2. It is going to be very interesting to see what happens with that launch. I can already see the writing on the wall. [NAP CLOSES! FX2 production split between KCAP and DTP.] Here we go with transfer of operations again. :o :o :o Let us all hope for the best.

NAP builds only Super cab and regular cab, 6.5 ft box and 8 ft box

I think sup cab 8 ft box in NAP unique, not quite sure

NAP BUILDS NO CREW CABS

NAP BUILDS NO 5.5' box

rcab 6.5, rcab 8', scab 6.5, scab 8

DTP builds Super cab and Crew Cab,

DTP BUILDS NO REGULAR CAB

DTP CANNOT BUILD 8' BOX

scab 5.5, scab 6.5

ccab 5.5 and the NEW ccab 6.5

DTP DOES NOT BUILD ANY 6 cyl or manual trans either

KCAP build all cab and box configs

(except, maybe, scab 8' box)

KCAP is exclusice for style box

We are NOT building a crew cab with the style box YET

IS this is a sad and horrible day, maybe second only to the rouge powerhouse accident

 :o :( :eek5:
