Josh Oliver
So, GM has put the Buick Regal in an ad for GM North America. The Regal is listed as a "concept." This is the first GM has done to fuel speculation that the Chinese Regal is coming here. http://www.thegmsource.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=6516
jpd80
Buick Regal is on Epsillon II so there's nothing stopping GM from making it alongside the Malibu.
LastMercury
Not a bad idea. The Regal is slightly smaller than the new LaCrosse. Got to have something to sell to fleet buyers :P
Michael Reynolds
Hmm, so this is basically the Opel Insignia. Make it an OPC and I'm sure they could move a few....I'd consider one.

Got to have something to sell to fleet buyers :P LaCrosse is also on Epsillon II, the next Impala will be on it too..... Hmm, so this is basically the Opel Insignia. Epsillon II is like Ford's D3 platform Highly likely that Ford will consolidate products on D3, CD3 CD3s and EUCD into one platform. When this happens, Ford North America's manufacturing and supply base will be super efficient. Edited June 20, 2009 by jpd80
