Trimdingman
Chicken Little speaks.. This is what happens when you watch too much Fox News. Just keep on cheering for the Fed printing up those greenbacks. They should give every American a million bucks. Then you would all be rich. Do you also believe in the Tooth Fairy? Maybe Obama is really from Zimbabwe. rainbownthdrk
Is Fox news "Fair and Balanced"? Do they report fact or do they slant the 'news' ? I really like Henry Fords words....circa 1926. Just a thought......I believe Bill O'Rielly, Glen Beck, and especially conservative radio host "THE GREAT ONE" Mark Levin admire our founding fathers. Do I believe President Obama (O-BUMMER) admires them? NOPE........................not feelin' it!!

Trimdingman
So where do all these well financed right wing ideas come from? This article has a lot of good background on the origin of the right wing propaganda machine. http://baltimorechronicle.com/2010/050110Parry.shtml There is no "right wing propaganda machine". Socialism is a religion. Right wing is the absense of religion. It is the absense of any collective ideology. It is made up of individuals who think for themselves. Once you get out from under the ideology of big government, you can see the truth. This truth is not something that was a result of brainwashing by some authority. It was arrived at by each individual independently. Now, they are coming together to oppose the lie that is big government. Under big government, if there is a crisis, which there is right now, we will all go down together. Without big government, there will be some survivors. The best will survive to start a better civilization in the future. We are now living under big government. We are deep in debt, and can't get out. This is proof that big government is no good. It is as simple as that. Big government will spin volumes of bull crap to blind you to this simple fact. Just look at the situation yourself, and don't listen to some complex double-speak. Trimdingman
The Tea Party movement is a movement of epic Biblical proportions. The government and the mainstream media are desperately trying to downplay it and discredit it. All they are succeeding in doing is discrediting themselves, as shown by the falling ratings and Obama's plunging popularity. People want the news. The Tea Party movement is the big story. It is bigger than the oil spill or the EU bailout. It is a revolt against U.S. socialism. It could spread to the whole world. Once the governments of the world begin cutting social programs, as they will have to do eventually, the people who are now opposed to the Movement will see that socialism is the root cause of their woes, and join in. The die-hard long hairs from the Hippy era will be totally discredited, and marginalized, just as they were in the beginning by the Greatest Generation that came before them, until they became outnumbered by the brainwashed boomers. Let their Maoist/Leninist- inspired socialist ideology be retired along with them.

The thumb-sucking continues Billings accurately described, not the Tea Party movement, but the "stimulus" program. Printing up paper money and dumping it on a dying wood-fire to produce some short-lived flames, and telling everybody to break out the weenies and marshmellows. Nope! The party's over folks. Obama has been president for over a year now and none of his conspiracy theories are coming true. If that is true, you can thank the Tea Party and Fox News for nipping it in the bud. I would not let my guard down just yet though. Health Care reform has not been repealed yet, and there is still talk of stifling negative media reporting. Tax and trade is still on the table, and so is the Value Added Tax. The agenda is still there, but now the people know what is going on, thanks to the fair and balanced reporting of some of the media, like Fox. Cocheese
Now that's funny! Poor Trim can't seem to read properly. ( Hint to Trim ...I really think people are starting to realize this guy is nuts...refers to Beck.) DUH! Typical loyal Fox News viewer. I wonder if you are ever going to try a rebut a statement made by someone who challenges what you have posted, or will you continue to ignore them? I know you will once again ignore me, but I find it quite odd that you are using far left fringe websites as the base of your attack on Fox News. It is the equivalent of quoting a Rangers fan when commenting on how bad the Islanders are. The sad thing is, you apparently don't seem to understand that, therefore making your own stupidity quite humorous. As for what you have posted about Glenn Beck, well, maybe you should look a little deeper. First off, everyone's ratings are "down" recently (nice weather, slow news cycle). And secondly, even if you want to mock Beck for his slagging ratings, maybe you should have a look over at the DNC's own personal network, MSNBC, for their ratings. MSNBC's big guns are losing viewer-ship at a much higher rate than Beck has. MSNBC's main guy routinely battles it out for ratings with Nancy Grace and Campbell Brown. And in case you don't know, that isn't a good thing. Has Beck lost viewers? Yes. Has he lost as many as Olbermann, Mathews or Maddow? Absolutly not. So honestly, maybe you should stay quiet on this. As far as the "armageddon" not happening, I will agree with what Trim says. Because of people like Beck, Obama's numbers are in the toilet, which has without a doubt played a role in preventing the left from getting their agenda through. Obama is now 0-4 with his support of Democratic candidates (Governor (NJ/Virginia), the Senate (Massachusetts) and now the Democratic primary in Pennsylvania). Every incumbent Democratic candidate is looking over their shoulder heading into November. ACORN was exposed. Van Jones was exposed. We haven't seen Obama's pastor. The list goes on. Let me make this simple. It would be like saying there is no need to keep a Police Officer standing outside the store, because it never gets burglarized. Thanks to people like Beck, the American public has a chance to be fully informed. And because of that, they are pushing back.

( Hint to Trim ...I really think people are starting to realize this guy is nuts...refers to Beck.) DUH! Typical loyal Fox News viewer. When I said "if that is true", I wasn't referring to someone calling anyone nuts. If you would think a little when you read, you would realize that I was referring to the statement that "none of his conspiracy theories are coming true". Of course, that would be easy for you to miss, because you never have a rebuttal, unless you look it up in some left- wing enemy-sponsored rag that has got you brainwashed against your own country, and cut and paste. Goldline is probably the WORST place to buy gold. Just like flushing away your savings. First off, what makes you an expert on where one should buy gold? Second, as I went through the page you linked, I found an advertisement at the bottom of the page. When I clicked on it, this is what came up http://www.topstockanalysts.com/land/gold/387.asp?TP=563&ref=GAW&gclid=CI-Y-Iys36ECFciA5QodiDChKA So in other words, Beck trying to make money by allowing a company that sells gold, BAD. Crooks & Liars trying to make money by allowing a company that sells gold, PERFECTLY OK Honestly, you people never cease to amaze me. For the record, if you take advice on where to invest your money from Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, Keith Olberman, Chris Mathews, etc, then you are an idiot. I will quote the one response that no one seemed to want to touch When paper fails people flood back to a store of value until the system is replaced with a new system. Gold has served this purpose for thousands of years. Question: Name one fiat currency that has successfully survived the test of time? Answer: None.

xr7g428
Saying that all fiat currencies have failed sounds all ominous, until you also mention that no gold backed currency has ever survived either. There is not one single significant gold backed currency in existence. Most of the people who advocate that you hold gold, are in fact the ones SELLING it. Saying they never survived is not right either. Fiat currencies are always devalued to nothing. Gold backed currency is always abandoned by governments so they can spend more.
