FyreRyder
Well I have come over to the dark side.... Just ordered my new truck this week! A 2011 F350 crew cab dually. I am going to a Ford from a 3500 Dodge megga cab srw diesel. Absolutely loved my old truck. It was 99.9% reliable with only two trips in for warranty work in 160,000km (ujoints and rear windown control). It now has 202,000 km and still going strong. My point here is, I hope the new Ford truck will be as reliable. I got a killer deal on the truck (dealership in Nisku, Alberta, Canada) that I could not turn down plus the GVWR has a higher rating than Dodge (which is important to me with two quads on a sled deck, tools, work materials and a brutal hitch weight on my travel trailer). My Dodge truck has set some very high standards and I hope Ford will be able to surpass this. Once you go diesel you'll never go back.... atvman
I thought Cummins guys were supposed to be fiercely loyal to the point of where they'd just stop buying trucks if Chrysler were to drop the Cummins.
mettech
My '03 2500 Ram was the most problem free truck I've owned. Not one issue with it for the 2 years I had it. My '05 F-350 PSD has been the most troublesome truck I've ever owned. A page full of issues not limited to the engine. However, the F-350 does tow better, I like the brake system on it better, has more room, and rides slightly better. If the new 2011 PSD proves to be a good engine, I might buy another F-350 or F-450... If not, I will go back to a Ram or a GM product. Keep us posted on how the 2011 does. At 52000 miles EGR valve went. Dealer ordered parts and said was OK to drive. Wrong, they had to come get it when it died and would not restart. FyreRyder
Where did you get the picture? I'm hoping when i take delivery in april in states, that they will at least have 0% interest Diesel Garage forum had a link to some new pictures. I searched high and low for a picture of a white dually and this is the first and only I have found. My dealer told me I have a build week of March 22 so I should see the truck mid April. They have a black dually delivered to Edmonton this week but it is being held in storage until the official release date next month. Sucks to be the guy who ordered beginning of January and now watches his truck in storage for the next month...
