firemanal
I ordered the 3.31 also based on some blogs. They talked 17-19 on on the road at 70. 15-17 around town. I've seen claims of high 20's but I'm guessing it's downhill with a tailwind.
jerseyphil
I ordered a F-250 CC 4x4 with a 3.31 axle , what MPG do they avg. I have the 2011 F-250 CC 4x4 with the 3.31 axle. Just took a trip to Maine from Central New Jersey. I would say highway miles round trip was about 800 and local driving was about 450. No jack-rabbit starts, but didn't baby it either. Highway driving speed was about 50% 60MPH and 50% 65MPH For the whole trip of 1250 miles, I averaged 21.5 Miles Per Gallon.

2012SDKR
I have a new 2012 F-250 SDKR and around town I averaged on my first two tanks around 17.1 mpg. Which is about 4 to 5 mpg higher than my 2010 F-250 gas hog. I have not done any highway driving yet but next week I have to drive over to Miami. Arizonian
I ordered a F-250 CC 4x4 with a 3.31 axle , what MPG do they avg. I have a 2011 F-350 2x2 crew cab - long bed with 3.31 and get 18 - 21 not towing and 11 - 14 pulling a 38' 5th wheel. Amazing the amount of power this truck has. I am a happy camper.. ChrisFromTexas
I've had a new 2011 F250 crew cab 2wd and 3.31 for about 2 weeks now. Was out on IH-30 for a 200+ miles this weekend and averaged 22+ mpg over the entire trip(out & back). I was between 65 - 70 most of the trip and it included one regen cycle. Can't wait to get my fifth-wheel behind it and see what it gets! I think I'm gonna like this truck.

I am expecting to get my new 2012 F-250 Diesel 4x4 in about two weeks and I was wondering what kind of mpg to expect. That is about the same mpg that my current F-150 gets now. I love it! Zrullac
These numbers are impressive compared to the 12-13 mpg I get with my 2008 6.4L powerstroke.
