yea this is our year so everybody says , giving up health care as we know it. ask any retired person and you'll see what we are in for if the iuaw takes over our health care. i wouldn't trust the iuaw with my dogs health care. come on people, lets say no if they try to shove this down our throats. we are way under the caddy tax anyway, also it don't even take place till the last year of the new contract and by then it might be gone so who knows. if we don't get a great contract this year we will never get one ever.

has anyone heard of any buyouts within the near future. have 30 in and would like to turn it over to someone else if the right deal comes along. just don't want to retire now and then miss a buyout. thanks

be sure to get the tint with heat shield . this will keep your car protected from the uv rays and keep it a lot cooler. regular tint does none of these.

ok mnm sounds good. thanks for the update. want to replace my 02 750 which is all ford built , not mostly international. i will be glad to wait till then to get a good U.S. built 750. in 04 when bluediamond started to build the 750 they were just a cheap built international with the ford blue oval on the front .

i seen a car hauler today upside down on the side of the interstate loaded with cmax energi cars that was headed to the chicago il area. i think yours was the one on the bottom of the pile. sorry

i would have thought at least they would be talking about it.if they don't get the 750 your friend will be packing for a move cause they will close that plant. by the contract ford agreed to invest 128 millon to bring in the 750. i just hope the union don't let them change there mind. thanks to the 6.0 powerstroke ,this engine probally will save avon lake . anyway thanks neighbor for the info. take care

whats the update on the F650 and F750 being built at avon lake after the E350 ends later this year or early 2014. has any retooling started or anyone seen or heard any plans on when job 1 will be. thanks , dozerman (lap)

we built some 2014 and they are basically the same unit. these were not for resale and we are still building the 2013. i would go with a 2013 and try to get some good rebates. also i would go with the 2.0 or 2.5 engine instead of the 1.6 . thanks

i'am at lap and my wifes 02 7.3 4x4 excursion has 275k miles on it and all i've ever done to it is change oil every 10k miles( shell 5w40 synthetic). trip to gulf shores with it loaded to the max and the six of us at 70mph netted 21.5 mpg. she loves this truck. good job ktp .work smart , work safe.

yep. thats what Nissan is doing in nashville.when ford sold our plant Nissan hired Yates contracting company to do all there hiring.now nissan has only a few of the oldtime nissan workers left and all the rest are working for Yates and show up at nissan and go to work.

been on ilo from sold plant for 3 years and today labor affairs email me a application for moving allowance form and said fill it out and fax or email back asap. has anyone one else that signed up for lap gotten this form? just wondering if they are getting ready to call me to lap or not in the very near furture( have 28.5 credits). has anyone else with less time been called yet with a report date? take care
