RJG5
Howdy All - New Flex owner. I purchased an SEL version, but really wanted the Ecoboost, but the versions that had it were $15k plus more than mine...so 1. Can I get "Ecoboost" from Ford dealer install or is there a turbo/charger available aftermarket? 2. What other options are available for the 3.6 that can pep it up a bit? frpda205
you should have bought the EcoBoosted vehicle. 3.6? what are you talking about. The base motor in FLEX is a 3.5 liter. The EcoBoost is also 3.5 also but it is built different. parts are not interchangable. trade it for a used EcoBoost FLEX or MKT

Steve Theoretically you could swap out an Ecoboost drivetrain and reflash the PCM but it will probably cost way more than $15K. Stick with cold air intake, cat back exhaust and a SCT tuner.
