MY93SHO
http://www.cleanmpg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=39063 Got this tweeted to me this morning: "Re: Ford Trucks – Fuel Economy Leadership from Engines to Alignment We took off this morning and it has been a battle so far. We stopped at 108 miles out for a pitstop. The results so far are not great, but it is only the beginning segment. I'm sure you have heard "you can't beat mother nature." Mother nature has impacted the drive so far with 20 to 30 mph headwinds. Wayne: 108.7 miles @ 26.3mpg! The gusting headwinds and an elevation climb from 375' to 2402' has been a hindrance. __________________ Read The CleanMPG Primer! "
fordmantpw
Results not great? Seriously? 20-30 MPH headwinds, overall uphill for 108.7 miles and 26.3 MPG is "not great'? Sounds pretty impressive to me. I understand they are hypermiling, but still, that's pretty impressive for dragging a full-size truck uphill.
