The chassis feels larger than it is, but in a good way. There's grip, smoothness, refinement, and the electric steering is real good--something I've not often said. Fifty more horsepower would be welcomed, but the upcoming Focus ST should correct that. For average drivers, the Focus SE has plenty of go, and I never found myself needing more merging on the interstate or pulling into traffic. Wanting more? Sure. Needing? No. And the lack of on-boost torque steer was a welcome change from the Mini Cooper. Edited May 18, 2011 by Biker16

630land
I got a 2012 SE as a loaner and the electric steering felt great, not sloppy. Some so called 'enthusiast' on another car forum said he got a Kia Forte since it still had hydraulic power steering. To me that is like the old fogies who still wanted carburators or points/condensor ignitions. Edited May 18, 2011 by 630land

To me that is like the old fogies who still wanted carburators or points/condensor ignitions. I can't agree more. it feels natural and so smooth,
