There's an interesting article in The New Yorker magazine July 11 &18, 2011 about the Koch brothers and their destructive agenda against President Obama.

Let this information be an FYI to you; pass on to others, and let's inform the Koch brothers that God through us is in charge.

The Koch brothers are withholding their money (money assigned to the banks for U.S. debt relief) until President Obama is not re-elected to the presidency. They want the American people to "Believe" (wrongly so) that President Obama is responsible for the wars, the fragile economy, and the other ills of society. Let's begin to boycott the Koch enterprise until they have to scream "HELP"! Read the list below and make sure that you do not purchase any of these products. Let's serve the Tea Party with some bitter tea. Make a list of the products below to take with you every time you go shopping, and DO NOT purchase any of these.

Brothers Charles and David Koch, with a combined worth around $35 billion dollars, are waging a war against President Obama.

The Koch brothers are the majority owners in Koch Industries, America's second-largest private company with revenues of $100 billion in 2009, and 80,000

employees in 60 countries.

Koch Industries main source of revenue is from the manufacturing, refining, and distribution of petroleum. They are major financiers of the Tea Party.

They also are providing money to run anti-democratic ads.

Do not allow your money to be used to sponsor the Tea Party.

Every campaign needs a boogey-man for the manipulation of the public opinion.

You folks are far too easy. All the powerful have to do is to leave bread crumbs for you and you just peck and eat them up. Just be careful, one day you may realize you were fed those crumbs to lead you right where they wanted....and you would never have agreed to otherwise.

To Catch a Wild Pig - A Parable About Society That Offers Valuable Lessons for Leaders

Quote:

In the midst of his story he looked at the professor and asked a strange question. He asked, 'Do you know how to catch wild pigs?' The professor thought it was a joke and asked for the punch line. The young man said this was no joke. 'You catch wild pigs by finding a suitable place in the woods and putting corn on the ground. The pigs find it and begin to come every day to eat the free corn. When they are used to coming every day, you put a fence down one side of the place where they are used to coming. When they get used to the fence, they begin to eat the corn again and you put up another side of the fence. They get used to that and start to eat again.

You continue until you have all four sides of the fence up with a gate in the last side. The pigs, who are used to the free corn, start to come through the gate to eat; you slam the gate on them and catch the whole herd. Suddenly the wild pigs have lost their freedom. They run around and around inside the fence, but they are caught.

Soon they go back to eating the free corn. They are so used to it that they have forgotten how to forage in the woods for themselves, so they accept their captivity.

End Quote.

Left, right, republican, democrat, libertarian and independent. If I can accomplish any one thing online here, I hope I get each of you to take some small fraction of time to consider the possibility you/me/we are being fed corn. What you believe or how you choose to react to this is up to you. I have no doubt a few will refuse to read this post, much less honestly consider what I have attempted to open your eyes to. So be it. To the others, be as critical of what supports your position as you are of what is counterpoint.

So you want to believe the Koch bros. (unelected) are somehow more responsible than Obama (elected) for current problems?

Good luck with that one.

As Red Foreman would say: "Dumbass"

No, He wants you to understand that they supported the Man responsible for the current problems, George W. Bush.

Are you saying that Obama bears no responsiblity in any of this? While I will agree bush most certainly played a very prominent role in this, Obama does not get a free pass.

Obama always gets a pass in some of the supposedly "objective" all knowing posters on the board.

(Its always and all Bush's fault)

As I have said before Bush had no domestic policy and if he did steer the economy into a nose dive Obama hit the afterburners.

Its only the republicans and the unelected deemed republicans that are responsible for the misery and bad economy.

Lets elect more people with zero successful business or real world experience and act surprised when things get worse..

Their are certainly plenty of Dems to blame, but not the one your blaming.

The best part is that you haven't yet answered the Objective All-knowing poster on this board the mulitple of times he's asked how Obama ruined the economy. Why not?

Obama is not helping the US economy.

He (Obama)has spent money the US does not have at a faster rate than Bush did and he (Bush) was definitely bad.

If you think Bush was bad (which you do) you are talking out of both sides of your mouth praising Obama and giving him a pass.

Wait until the actual costs of Obama care kick in. That in itself will kill more businesses and add to the working persons costs.

Its bad now so lets pile more unfunded mandates on the system, yea that's the ticket.....

Its clear you like the guy (Obama),everyone gets than. You plan on voting for him again, everyone gets that too. To give the weak impression that your objective is a joke. If you REALLY think Obama has not added to the current problems your way less than smart as well. At least be honest and say you voted for a guy with no experience and he has / is failing. Good pick Einstein.

Your a partisan voter. Your mind is made up well in advance of looking at the actual people to choose from come voting time.

That's your prerogative and shows your not as objective as you claim to be.

I do not accept the premise that I have to show how Obama has ruined the economy and is failing as a president.

If you turn on ANY news source or look at any poll a blind man can see it. Why you do not is your own personal problem.

Congrats on surpassing the +900 mark for negative feedback.

That in itself should be a clue (to you) how others view you and your message.

Total BS.

Keep cheering the "Hope and Change" mantra. The only ones doing so are the truly inept or those that are getting free stuff. Anyone that actually works or runs a business is a lot better off when Obama leaves office.

Obama did one thing good and that was to flip the house seats to the other side at mid terms. Pretty sweet move and hopefully he has the same effect on the senate. For that one accomplishment Obama can be commended.

My Brother is the company controller and financial analyst for GAPAC. He has worked for them since 1981. He buys nothing but Fords. I buy GAPAC products. If this article is true, I've never been more proud of him. I can't wait to let him read this article and I may report back concerning it's validity.
