Question??? Are we at Ford more deserving than Chrysler workers? If so why?....Im sure they along with GM workers would KILL for our bonuses and contract...What makes us so different or special? Just because Ford didnt take a bailout means its hourly workers deserve raises and bonuses almost 5 times what Fords competitors gave their employees??? That doesnt make sense. Ford mortgaged the whole business taking out loans before the credit crisis hit or they woulda needed a bailout. You realize Bill Ford and Mullaly were given stock options(worth 2 dollars a share at the time) as part of their pay package. Because of mullalys leadership and vision the company revamped its product line and cutt costs which made the stock price soar and made their shares worth a lot more than when they were paid with them. What if the stock wouldnt have risen like that??? No 56 million for them thats for sure. Who cares what mullaly makes. It has nothing to do with whether this is a good contract.
