PajamaGuy
One of the Escape Promo videos says if you go to the beach, you can lock your Intelligent fob in the vehicle and use the Keyless Entry Keypad to lock (overriding the Smart Unlock feature) and when you return, unlock the vehicle. What I don't read or see is, "Is that keyfob then disabled (from all proximity activity) until you either unlock via KEK, or a different fob? I think so, but would lie to read it. PJ Yes - IA is disabled until you unlock the vehicle with the keypad.
PajamaGuy
Thanks - but not to put a fine point on it - is all IA disabled, or just that fob's? Can another fob unlock via IA? PJ

golowes48
In the user manual I am pretty sure it states that another fob can unlock the doors.

It does say you can lock the doors with the keypad OR another fob so I would assume the other fob could still unlock the doors.
