campbell53
Redesigned won't do it for me, my customers or Lincoln. We need NEW vehicles to compete. The Taurus/MKS platform is too confining for people to love. In addion to being butt ugly the MKT has very poor rear head room and that cannot be fixed with a redesign. Unless you put a bubble on the roof. Those two models are disastrous for Lincoln as a brand. Listen...I am around these models every day. I hear what customers and my sales staff say about them every day. I know what I am talking about. I am hopeful for Lincoln but it is slipping away rapidly at this point.
2b2
MKS and MKT are both being redesigned in the next couple of years. We already know that. well *I* don't know that. In fact (tho I could easily have missed something) I'm still hoping that the MKT gets replaced by an "LTC", LincolnTouringCar, big sedan based on the T's longer wheelbase & that the MKS gets replaced by a RWD Continental with various amounts of AWD supplied by minimal to full-hybrid amounts of electrics, instead on a front-origami-driveshaft. & edit btw campbell, I'd like to invite you an ideal Lincoln lineup proposition elsewhere - if you think it'd be more of a morale booster than rubbing salt in a wound. NickF1011
well *I* don't know that. It's only been mentioned here a thousand times in any number of these Lincoln threads. MKS and MKT are the "old way" of doing it.
