jschmitt3
So I go and pay the extra (whatever) $75 for the all-weather floor mats for my hybrid Z - and I'm kinda wondering ... did anyone else order these things? Here's my real question? why is it that the front driver all-weather floor mat is the same size as the two rear passenger floor mats while the front passenger's size is more representative of what I would have expected from both of the front seat mats. It makes no sense to me that the driver gets a floor mat that does not run the full length up towards or just short of the brake/gas pedals. Any thoughts? galangg
I did not order them. Not sure if I'll end up getting any at all. Time will tell. Of course, conversations here could influence me to proceed with the purchase.
kimbar1962
I usually order my mats custom through AutoSports. They have some nice all weather (albeit PLASTIC) mats that are great for the back seat with the kids. I'd just pull it out and hose it down. I haven't priced them yet, but they have a really quick turn around time. Of course, my MKZ will not allow children in it. I have teenaged twin girls. . . no more makeup application, no more breakfast, no more JUNK in my back seat. The all weather mat is still heavily used, despite their "advanced" age. John Do you think it’s possible they mis-packaged the floor mats and you inadvertently end up with 3 rear floor mats?
jschmitt3
Do you think it’s possible they mis-packaged the floor mats and you inadvertently end up with 3 rear floor mats? That was my first thought, but the driver front mat in question was the only one that had the mat "tie downs" on them. So I know it is the intended mat. Still doesn't seem right though John
