Chris1970
Interesting that the Mexico plant can build so many more cars. And if they can build 300,000 per year, why is there a shortage?
akirby
And if they can build 300,000 per year, why is there a shortage? Because they're selling 300K per year? They also build MKZs there and Fusions for export to Canada and Latin/South America.
jeff_h
I guess plants operating at 114% is how you meet demand... http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2012-11-08/ford-hires-5-200-in-plants-pushes-utilitization-to-114-.html
logatron
Just read about this on Autoblog. It's amazing how many people are complaining in the comments about it being built in Mexico. That still makes it an American car.
Jimcgov3
I believe there is a trend that the demand is definitely outpacing supply. As I've been following different forums on ordering cars over the last few months I have noticed that there is a definite slow down in production. Cars are taking longer to produce.
