jesster1228
"Guys like luxury, and women like imports when it comes to new-car buying, according to a study by Kelley Blue Book. Five out of the 10 brands men were most likely to shop for were domestic, with Lincoln topping the charts." Who knew? http://www.autoblog.com/2013/08/26/men-women-brand-shopping-habits/
Anthony
Unfortunately, this does not mean Lincoln is the most shopped among men, it means there is a greatest disparity between men and women when shopping for a vehicle. This is an very badly worded (and lame) study if you ask me. That is not really a "good" statistic to be topping the charts if you are trying to reach across the gender lines. I don't think you'll be seeing Lincoln tweeting the results of this study. Traffic data from KBB.com reveals men are 174 percent more likely to shop for a new Lincoln model compared to women on the site. On the other hand, women are 119 percent more likely to shop for a new Volvo model compared to men.
timf
The numbers work out to Lincoln shoppers being roughly 63.5% men and 36.5% women. This survey should explain why Lincoln is taking the approach they are with Black Label and why they have a large number of female designers on their staff. They simply aren't shopped by many women, so they are trying to create products with greater female appeal.

If they were aiming for women with their Black Label, then at least for this woman, mission not accomplished
