For fans (or more likely non-fans) of the fox fire red headliner in the Center Stage interior: According to their response on the Lincoln Black Label facebook page, the red headliner is "on the chopping block." Not sure if I liked it or not but I liked that it was a BOLD option.

I had an MKZ 3.7 loaner for 3 days and test drove an MKC 2.0 both black on black. For me, the current MKZ interior (which I like) comes of as modern yet sterile while the MKC has more dimension. They are similarly styled but the C has a more "crafted" interior - if that's the right word. The open pore wood & metal trim curves not just in plan but in section, too. It feels and looks more expensive but that might be due to the upgraded leather. The Z door panels have no detail where the C has extra stitching. The Z also benefits from having less sparkly flat black plastic on the console. Both are an upgrade from the '10 MKS. I've decided to wait for the '16 MKZ before making a decision on my next car.

"Sentinel" always reminds of the automatic on/off headlights in Cadillacs.

MKCs are still rare at the dealers in Los Angeles. The dealer closest to me only has 8 MKCs and none of them are the Reserve models with 19" or 20" wheels. They have a lot of models priced in the low $40k's. I would think most buyers here in image-conscious LA would only consider buying a higher end trim level.

The MKC commercials went in to HEAVY rotation this weekend. I must've seen a Lincoln commercial at least 3 or 4 times an hour. Whether you like them or not, people are taking notice. The local morning news anchors in LA were talking about them and they were even featured in the Entertainment report. They picked the bull as the favorite.

Just noticed the 2015 MKZ hybrid fuel economy listed on the window sticker now reads 41city/39hwy/40combined.

I've been trying to convince myself since last year that I need a new car (I don't) and I was pretty sure that I'd probably get a '15 MKZ hybrid in Dark Side after seeing a Dark Side Fusion everyday in traffic but that color is being discontinued. My second favorite - Smoked Quartz - is also gone for 2015. In case anyone was wondering here are the new colors. .

Anyone know if there are any substantial changes for the '15 MKZ Hybrid? My local dealer has one on the lot and the only difference I could spot in photos is the elimination of the giant antenna on models with the giant glass roof.

North Park Lincoln in San Antonio posted pics from their Customer Appreciation party on Facebook where the '15 Navi was on display in a brownish-orange color. Is that Cinnamon Metallic or a new color?

WHY?!?! Do old school Lincoln customers find this attractive? They should've put vinyl on the spoiler in a nod to the old padded Continental hump. At least there's no coach lamps.

The last time I was at the dealer there were no '14 Navigators available under $62k in stock. Hell, my '06 originally stickered at just over $60k. I don't think the increased pricing should be much of an issue, especially with all the new features.
