stlcardinal9
I am specifically looking for a 5th gen Explorer. I have looked high and low on the net, ebay, amazon, ford merchandise, numerous companies that sell diecast cars and the only thing I have found are police explorers. Anyone know a place to buy these at? Thanks
shaggy314
Greenlight has 2013 Fusions and Escape... oops you said Explorer. Hot Wheels are big Ford people check them Likely you are only going to find Police versions. May have to mod and paint one.
FiredMotorCompany
Like we know more than Google or Ebay? If you traversed the internet and fell here thinking we were your best hope for Matchbox © cars, you failed miserably. But, good luck and thanks for thinking we were holding out on the rest of the world's marketplace.
Mark B. Morrow
The only ones I ever remember seeing were the '91-'94 and '95-'01 Explorers. I'm pretty sure they were 1/24 scale

If he came here for the thoughts of 10 or so closed minded conservatives and a couple loud mouth liberals then he found what he wanted, anything else would be an epic fail. InTheDriversSeat
http://www.za3collectibles.com/greenlight_casting/glGL057.htm The above link shows all of the Greenlight 5th Generation, 1:64 scale Explorers produced so far. 3 were produced that do not have police lights on the roof, or the word 'Police'. On the top row, the 1st and 4th Explorers are readily available on ebay. The 2nd, plain white Explorer was a promo produced for Ford, who in-turn sold the vehicle at fordcollection.com, but is no longer available. The plain white one used to show up on ebay, but has now dried up. Another company, Toy State, has produced dis-proportioned Explorers in two scales. Red 1:32 scale metal, and various colors 1:43 scale plastic. http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=13164771 http://www.toystate.com/our-toys/dub/rim-rockerz/ Matchbox (Mattel) has produced 3 different 1:64 scale Explorers, but they have painted graphics indicating 'Forest Ranger', 'Fire Chief', and 'MBX Construction'.
