coupe3w
Have to congratulate the #48 team on their 6th championship.
TopCat501
Yes, you have to acknowledge that they are among the best race teams ever. With that being said, I think they would have had simialr success whether they drove for GM, Ford or Toyota. I think the 48's teammates lack of success (i.e. serious runs at championships) demonstrates that it is not GM product nor Hendrick specific surroundings that have been the difference maker for the 48 team. You put Knauss & Johnson in with any of the 3 or 4 top flight race organizations and their skills would have shown just as brightly and I believe championships would have resulted. Speaking of organizations, in the Ford camp it seems Penske team cars had a definite edge over Rousch cars the last 3/4 of the chase races
coupe3w
Yes Penske is doing much better than Roush. This maybe just what Ford needs to get better results.
Kev-Mo
All that Toyota money over at J Gibbs Racing and still no championship. I am just so broken up over that.. :happy feet:
NLPRacing
I was glad to see Kenseth not win it, even if that meant Johnson winning it again.
coupe3w
I wish Kenseth could have gone to Penske instead of Gibbs.
