DianeMc
Somehow, someway, the blue background of my blue oval on the front of my 2012 Edge Limited has disappeared!! It is so completely silver that I am now wondering if it has always been that way but I never noticed. How could this happen?? I don't have a front view photo of my Edge from when it was new, so I googled it...they all are blue ovals, not silver. Has this happened to anyone else?? Or do you think it has always been totally silver?

You are not unique-from time to time I will see a late model, be it 150 whatever and the "blue" is gone- Heck of a place to have a quality issue-your logo!
DianeMc
Thanks Bob. It would be nice if my dealership could pop a new blue oval onto my car...for free!
Bob Rosadini
Thanks Bob. It would be nice if my dealership could pop a new blue oval onto my car...for free! I would insist on it. and they shouldn't bat an eye in doing it.
NickF1011
On a 2012? Should be covered if you haven't surpassed the 36,000 miles of the bumper-to-bumper warranty. As Bob mentioned though, even if it's a little past, they may do it anyway as a goodwill repair which they can still get reimbursed by Ford for. SilverLS
Had the same thing happen to my F-250. It was out of warranty, but the dealer did replace it for free.
DianeMc
Well, I pointed this problem out to my dealer as I was TRADING IN my 2012 Edge for a 2014 Explorer which I absolutely love...and I'll keep an eye on my blue oval this time!!
