SteakNEggs
Hello! New here, just received my Fusion Titanium last week. So far I love everything about it! I noticed today when I tried to hop in and go the drivers side door wouldn't unlock even though the key was in my pocket. I tried multiple times and eventually just used the button on the fob. Then started the car with no issues. I hope this isn't a sign of what is to come! Also ordered a '14 Flex SEL so hopefully we'll be seeing that soon! akirby
Were you touching the inside part of the handle? That's the only part that will unlock the door. Also make sure you're not also touching the lock area at the same time.
SteakNEggs
That makes sense... I'll keep that in mind if it happens again! Thanks!
jared6788
No issues with the door handle/key in ~10 months
Bailey151
That makes sense... I'll keep that in mind if it happens again! Thanks! You'll get used to it, the "thunka-thunk-thunka-thunk-thunka.............." open/close cycle happens to all of us, especially in when wet (the capacative lock seems more sensitive). Just move your hand away for a couple seconds & then try again. Edited July 26, 2014 by Bailey151
Hydro
^ you aren't kidding. I was washing the car and just kept hearing the locks open and close. I finally got sick of it and left the keys on the porch instead of my pocket.
