They are about $4 at Walmart and the very best mobil 1 is just $27 for 5 qt bottles so I'm not visiting my dealer for either of those items. I'm going to have enough receipts for any warranty battle and I really like your idea of pics showing odometer and receipt. They will be hard-pressed to argue against that. They will be hard-pressed to argue against that. Receipts and pictures don't prove that the oil actually went into the vehicle or when. The damage will tell the story of what happened. This is the concern nowadays. I feel bad for this poor woman & her husband. I hope Ford will fix their car and stop giving them grief over it. akirby Posted February 21, 2015 Share Posted February 21, 2015 That wasn't a Ford issue. That was an inept and/or shady dealer. Had the dealer turned it in as leaky injectors causing oil contamination I'm sure it would have been covered. Your best bet is to try another dealer under full disclosure of course.
