Collision warning not available

Recommended Posts

There seems to be a problem with the sensors in the Ford 2011 edge Limited. For no reason  this  warning comes up the and the cruise control doesn’t work.  Any help would be awesome!  Thanks

Either the sensor has crap on it or the sensor is bad or it's a wiring issue.

Most of the 2011 edge that I’ve seen with ACC problems has to do with the sensor knocked off its pins behind the bumper. It requires bumper cover removal and the sensor snapped back in place.

I have not looked at sensors yet but are they difficult to repair or replace?  Thanks

It’s one big square black sensor box behind the bumper off centered towards the drivers side. If you span the sensor back on it’s studs , if loose, it will probably start working again.
