Thart1351
Anyone else experience a slight vibration at speed about 32-40? Dealer has checked tires. Happens even in neutral so probably not transmission. Dealer found the same issue on another aviator on the lot. AWD vehicle.
jfischetti
I haven't noticed anything on my AWD model. Will analyze that speed next time i'm driving...

Patroy
My ST has driveline vibration. Noticable around 20-25 and highway speeds. After confirming it's a problem and not notable on another ST on lot, I'm now being told it's normal after attempts to fix have failed. Disgusting. T hawker
I had that issue with my 1998 mark viii. Dealer said tires, had tires replaced under warranty, did not fix. Then had a 2001 Crown Vic, same problem. Turned out to be the driveshaft out of balance. Replaced and all was well.
CoolScoop
https://techlink.mynetworkcontent.com/?p=7276 Find a dealer or tire shop that has a road force tire balancer and have them rebalanced... especially if you have 22" wheels. Asmjmiller
Yes!!!! I’m glad I’m not the only one. Been to dealership twice. They’ve went through it and says it’s normal!!! Tech told me to get ahold of Lincoln and complain, because him and the other techs felt it but it takes Lincoln authority to dwell deeper into it. The dealership won’t spend their own money for it Edited February 5, 2020 by Asmjmiller
Thart1351
Since I started this topic I should close it it seems to be a somewhat common issue. My drive shaft was replaced and it fixed it. Others have reported the same result.
Patroy
My driveshaft was replaced and it made no difference. A buyback is now underway based on exceeded time in shop via lemon law. To be told "it's normal" after failed attempts to repair is horrifying. I'm glad I was saved by the lengthy down time.
