Has anyone’s truck that’s been sitting since the shutdown been shipped. Like the trucks at the speedway? I feel like we’re all left in the dark! LEADHEAD Posted May 26, 2021 Share Posted May 26, 2021 (edited) I ordered mine first week in March and received my vin from the dealer after a week. Tracking the vin the truck was to go to production in April but did not go in until May 13th and dealer to receive the truck June 2nd. On May 13th truck went into production and hasn't moved. I called the dealer and asked for them to track it to see where in the production it was since the plant was down 2 weeks. Dealer told me truck was built on the 13th of May and setting and should receive chips May 27th to June 2nd then be released for shipping. Truck has dealer receiving it on June 2nd. but that's not going to happen. I checked the carrier site and it is listed as pending . I have also lost all the window stickers. I did print them out each week with the date changes at the bottom. The last one I had, had the Dealer name and address on it that none of the others had, but when I printed it out the Dealer name was not on the print out and I could not find that window sticker again. Produced vehicles being held for the microchip issue will now show a "Micro Chip At Plant On Hold" status in Vehicle Visibility. I believe that Ford is using 10/31/2021 as a default ETA for the affected units pending resolution or updated information on microchip availability for the affected vehicle. “ hope this helps!
