Norway's best selling car in May 2021: Ford Mustang Mach-E

Norway May 2021: Ford Mustang Mach-E instant leader in market up 75.8% – Best Selling Cars Blog

"Model-wise, we have a surprise leader this month: the Ford Mustang Mach-E up 59 spots on April pre-launch volumes to dominate the charts with a whopping 9.8% share. Expect this figure to lower over the next couple of months as backorders are fulfilled."

As mentioned in the article, monthly sales numbers aren't meaningful. Still it's nice to see an American designed Ford vehicle top the charts in Norway, I think for the 1st time ever.

Somewhere in Dearborn, there is a committee meeting right now about what to do with this Norway problem.

Ford has the top selling model in a small market... history tells us Ford is 18 months away from announcing a "restructuring" to focus on selling less cars, and 5 years away from exiting the market ?

Or they're cancelling any further development or update for said model.

I'm fairly certain this wasn't Ford's first trip to #1 in Norway. Ford was a top selling brand in Nordic countries for many years until Toyota and VW cleaned its clock in the early 2000s.
