Off-Site Work

This will probably apply mostly to trucks but does anyone know what options would cause a vehicle to be sent off site for work?  Just curious.  I am pretty sure a spray-in bedliner will cause that but wondering what else will require a trip somewhere else before a vehicle is shipped.

I have confirmed from a reliable but unnamed source that the 5th-wheel prep is done on the line at KTP.

I've also heard from the same source that another reason for a vehicle getting 'sent offsite' is due to a shipping backup, and a lack of space at KTP for storing vehicles that are awaiting shipping.

Use this information for what it's worth, but don't blame the messenger.  I trust my source.
