SLAP SPARKIE
The first group of people taking a buyout at Saline ACH is scheduled to go November 1. Any tradesman on the list was removed from the list yesterday morning. Some of these guys had jobs lined up already. I heard that trades from St. Louis had to go back to production when they transferred. Can anyone confirm this or is it a BS rumor? All the trades at SLAP who came from production were given the oppertunity to transfer to KCAP as production workers. If you were hired off the street to the trades you are SOL . I heard they have no rights to get back into maintenance. A lot of these guys from St. Louis still live there and commute every weekend. Also Ford does have a way of losing the best supervisors. It seems the uppers feel threatened by a guy who can run the shop and people actually like to work for.

Bluecon
Hey TCAP'er, I apologize for spelling a word or two wrong, did not mean to touch a nerve. Then again only those in the stated 70% or 98% would have had a nerve touched. Use your PLC knowledge on this one. Convert the numbers to the corresponding letter of the alphabet. 01100000 10101000 11000000 11010000 10011000 11110000 10101000 The binary is backwards. It should be 00000110 00010101 00000011 00001011 00011001 00001111 00010101 What a bunch of PLC wizards.

The Sentinel
All the trades at SLAP who came from production were given the oppertunity to transfer to KCAP as production workers. If you were hired off the street to the trades you are SOL . Atlanta trades, even the guys who started on the line, we not given ANY oppritunity to return to production. We just get to sit in GEN and hope for the best.
