2017 Cmax Hybrid Battery life!

Recommended Posts

Anyone know when I should consider replacing my small battery on my 2017 Cmax Hybrid (Less than 22,000 miles)? It runs fine but would enjoy comments....pricing!

Thanks! I should be more specific, since the Cmax has 2 separate batteries...I meant the 'engine start up battery.'

Sorry I misread.  Normally a 12V battery lasts 3-4 years but hybrids usually last longer.  If you want to be sure get a Solar BA-9 battery tester and check the CCA rating against the new spec.

As always, thanks for the information. I think the batteries at the Ford dealer are around $139 or so. I'll wait till the next oil change and get a battery!
