Help needed with trailer TPMS INSTALL

I think something is missing from my receiver as the plug has no retainer. Can Anyone snap a picture of theirs? I am sure ford will tell me I am SOL.

Is there a chance you've plugged the wire harness into the shipping cap?  Is it working?

Exactly what road turtle said. You have to remove the cap on the wire side then plug it into the box.
