If it's a barn find or something, sure. But one year should be fine.


More than 12 months is not recommended for any oil even full synthetic.

If I went by distance I would probably only be on my second oil change in almost four years of owning my truck, although it does feel like a waist of money I swap it out anyway. It was pretty hard not to sell it while used truck prices soared but I couldn’t justify the replacement costs.
