mustang84isu Posted October 23, 2006 Author Share Posted October 23, 2006 It's supposed to be satin aluminum like on the Mariner. That much chrome would be too gaudy, IMO. The rear upkick was is attributed to the '70 Montego. The front was inspired by the Milan / Mariner. Basically, I was trying to make something with a little more testosterone for Mercury. I like the old Mercs from the 60s and 70s where they had some muscle to 'em.
