So what makes you think it's supposed to be there? Is it listed on the sticker as a feature?
wcpdaddy
Premium 6CD audiophile with the Sony speaker system. There isn't anything in the manual showing the locaton of the port. Ah. You got hooked like me. I have the same system (only 5 speakers instead of 6) and was curious about the input feature. I asked the dealer for help and got nowhere. They said the input feature was for something other than an external device such as mp3 or dvd. Anyone else got any info?
akirby
I know that feature was just added to the Fusion/Milan, MKZ, Edge and MKX but I don't remember seeing that it was available for the Focus. If it was it would be in the manual. That Aux input has been there for years and has nothing to do with the mp3 input jack.
OAC_Sparky
The "AUX" button is an "unused" feature on the Focus -- the head unit is used in other vehicles, it actually is used to control the rear seat entertainment system. To make it work you need one of these: http://www.pie.net/store/index.cfm?action=...s&ItemID=
