King james 23777
Was looking to get an extended warranty for a recently purchased 2018 navigator. Looking for recommendations based on real world experiences. So specifically how easy was it to get a claim covered and if there were any denials and why. My ride currently has 96k. Thanks for any insight
akirby
The only one worth getting is a Ford ESP. But it’s going to be really expensive if it’s even available. Just put $2K into a savings account instead
Turd Ferguson
We have the same vehicle. We have the Lincoln Premium Care warranty which gives bumper-to-bumper coverage. Used it twice now to fix the massage seats, seat belt retractor, and one other small item. Warranty was as promised - $100 deductible out the door. No gimmicks, it's for real. Ford and Lincoln dealers see it in their system and just give you the bill for $100, no shenanigans! We're going to purchase it again on our next navigator.
King james 23777
Thanks for your info we decided to go through Ford. Cost for a 4 year 36k warranty ran 3095.

You do know that you purchased an extended service plan (backed by an insurance company) - not an extended warranty?
Turd Ferguson
The Lincoln Premium Care bumper-to-bumper extended warranty was purchased from Lincoln and automatically honored by the dealerships. Show up, tell them you are covered by their warranty, they confirm your coverage in their system (by VIN), then pay the dealer $100 once repairs complete. No middle man, no hassles. This isn't CarShield, lol.
