Letter to Jim Farley and Board

Recommended Posts

Share holders are requesting to have a vote at the next meeting if Jim Farley should retain his position.

Shareholders have heard excuses for years now and now they want to cut middle management incentives to save money? Stop blaming tariffs. We need to be proactive and make good moves. The Ford products were never boing as Jim implies, they were affordable cars and trucks that the customers enjoyed and could rely on. This is Ford NOT Tesla. We do NOT want to battle the Chinese EV makers.

A few examples of why Jim your time should end at Ford.

IMO his biggest flaw is going too fast and too hard on EVs - the failed Rivian and VW deals, killing Edge and Nautilus and investing too much too quickly in BOC.  And now putting the new EVs in Louisville instead of BOC makes no sense.

I’m down for this. He hasn’t done anything that has impressed me, well I guess unless you’re talking about a $400,000 plus Mustang. How exciting.  I see no clear vision for Ford.

As a counterpoint to this, can anyone explain what exactly has gone well under Farley‘s leadership and why he should be retained?
