I think the new face looks great and was excited when I saw the pictures, but my mouth dropped when I saw the carry over interior. I was thinking at least they could have put in a new super duty type dash. The sad part about this is the money isnt there. That's why we have this mid year type grill upgrade.

Great news! One article had a great point... "If Ford wants to bring back the Taurus name, it needs to follow its own example--reinvent the car from the ground up and shake up the industry, just as the original Taurus did back in 1985." I agree ford needs something that will set the market on FIRE! As you can see by my screen name I am really hoping that the SHO will return!!! I have a feeling at the press event in Chicago that some of the automotive jorunalists will be asking about the SHO.

Hey Guys, I wanted to congratulate you on building a fine car!! I was lucky enough to be able to tour the Chicago Assembly Plant, but have always wanted to see AAP. I have owned 6 Taurus’s! 1989 Light Titanium SHO 1990 Oxford White SHO 1991 Deep Jewel Green SHO 1994 Opal Frost SHO 1996 Charcoal Grey SHO 2000 Blue SES (soon to be traded in for a Tan 2004 SES) Here is a picture of my driveway from last year. P.S I would love to have a small souvenir from AAP. Anything would be a piece of history for me and I would be very grateful. Whats even worse is I could walk next door to Chrysler and find the following.. Ram SRT10 Viper SRT10 Crossfire SRT6 Charger SRT8 Jeep SRT8 300C SRT8 Magnum SRT8 ACK!!!! Do I want to buy a Chrysler? NO I want to buy a Ford but they dont have any performance vehicles!!!!!

I like the stickers. Its too bad that just a few years ago they must have went to a cheaper sticker or a different supplier, because most of the plant stickers i see after the year 2000 or so are cracked. The one on my '89 is just fine. I think we would have to get in touch with someone that works at the plant, thats the only way i see us getting one.

I like what I see except for the headlights..... yikes...
