  1. Please, looking at purchasing a used Taurus. This one looks nice. VIN # is 1fafp53265a137421. PM me if you can provide one. Thanks.
  2. Then: The hockey stick graph was old inadmissible news for the MMGW purveyors on this board and else where. That those that created it were fraudulent LIARS never really seemed to overly bother them. Questioning scientist's: ethics, morals, results, intended results, hidden agendas, etc., even in the face of significant fraudulent scientists was un-acceptable, and not permissible. Failing to have what the MMGW purveyors called 'peer reviewed' articles meant MMGW must be real! Questioning the deficiencies, strong arm tactics, hidden agendas, fraud, etc. around 'Peer Reviewed' articles or the Peer group itself was was un-acceptable, and not permissible. Questioning the IPCC AKA the Holy Grail of MMGW was impossible as it was made up of all these amazing world bodies of science. What ever data the IPCC says is 'the' data is in fact the data to be used for all debates. Any other data is simply of little value and not 'the' data. Period. Now: The hockey stick graph is still major news when we take into account just how much they massaged that data to remove or even Invert the Medieval Warming Period and align all the data into the rising 'blade' as well as disguise and remove the decent that was cut off/hidden. The people that generated it were LIARS! It is Right to question the integrity, ethics, motives, funding, prestige, etc. of the scientists working none stop to grind out Pro MMGW data! Peer Review is in fact not some amazing thing. It is too much about 'majority' and 'power' rules. Its dangerous to tout PR articles when the group in power wont let anyone else in and when the articles that are reviewed are reviewed with fraudulant intent. Data is now as the article says "Product". Which means no one wants to release their 'product' to others so that they can review it, test it, compare it, etc. It is now worth Money. And you don't want to release it Especially when it is full of questionable tricks and skewed data and even blatant lies. Its all about money, power, funding. The IPCC does not check its own sources or is as fraudulent as their own sources and thus are wholly incapable of performing their assigned duties. ---------------------- Trillions of dollars on the line here and the only thing the MMGW backers have been backing is the same old sales lines, a refusal to debate, a refusal to be honest with the data, a refusal to question the scientists and their data, and a desperate need to still cling to the idea that is always at the end of every informal GW debate "That somehow man is affecting the climate one way or another. Period. Which then starts the process over again. Rinse/repeat to no end until they finally stop and drop the GW or MMGW issue. Peace and Blessings
  3. Most exempt take vesting that does not Start for 3+ years and is 15% to 20% below strike price set at contract. I would not expect the CEO to take anything that expires in less then 5 to 7 years. Especially coming into this mess. Further, executive strike prices are usually a fraction of the current cost. So if it was $4 per share when M came in, he probably got a 300k to 700k shares with a strike price of 50 cents or less vesting 20% or more each year after the 1st year if not better calendar terms. Peace and Blessings
  4. Wow. Texas AND CA are on board with this. Cool! Peace and Blessings
  5. He or she will get a raise the next year? Seriously. I would much rather have it simple and clean and have a very very few over laps which do not amount to much then the huge mess we have now. Peace and Blessings
  6. Twins win! Peace and Blessings
  7. I would like to see a graduated tax with no deductions except for children and donations. < $35,000 -$2,500 / dependent up to 5 dependents = 10% tax < $85,000 -$2,500 / dependent up to 5 dependents = 12% tax < $150,000 -$2,500 / / dependent up to 5 dependents = 14% tax > $150,000 -$2,500 / / dependent up to 5 dependents = 16% tax Then after a decade we would have a better idea of how to move financially to a straight usage tax of say 20% on all items not food, clothing, or shelter. Give the feds 15% and the state 5%. Locked. With 1% from each going to pay of debt or into savings. Freaking amazes me that I should save, but that the govt saves nothing, so it can maintain funding during down times. Should get to the point of having 5%, then 10% then 25%, then 50% of next years budget in the bank. Peace and Blessings
  8. That's why I'm here Trim. To make sure the religious fanatics don't get to him! :hysterical: Peace and Blessings Hey, its a good week. One of us has sought out help.
  9. Ah Versa. That is where you just learn to let others have their say and ignore it if it is only silly banter of no assistance. It could come from me, Trim, my mother (hahahah!), your mother, uncle loud mouth, who knows. Alcohol is about lashing out at yourself. So if playing a puppet to anotherss; Trimms in this case, puppet strings. Don't be a puppet. Don't lash out. Just consider. The more you consider the greater will be your success. Life is a thinking mans game. Believe it or not Versa. Some really do have it worse then you. You won't always know who they are. That is not the key. The key is knowing that you only have your road to walk. Not your and their road! Peace and Blessings
  10. Lets not turn this into a debate over quiting and 12 steps, etc. That is of no use to Versa or anyone else on this path. Lets just stop now. If you don't have something personal and posative to share, filter it and keep it to yourself just this one time... Peace and Blessings
  11. Guess you do know what a "New Day" can feel like huh? Peace and Blessings
  12. Wow! Thanks for a great story of your own! Makes me want to give this girl a scholarship, a new car, a house, or something. But she sounds like she is blessed with the best things in life already!!! If you actually know her, you can tell her parents job excellently done by them and her, from me! Peace and Blessings
  13. Exactly. That is why I moved from Sacramento Ca to MN. The schools are much better and middle school is not gangs-drugs-and violence 101. Glad to have my kids in real good schools. But if not, I would not be afraid to home school in the slightest. It very much depends upon the kid, parents, and setting. 2 out of 3 is good. For example, the homeless boy that graduated top of his class in Sacramento Ca 3 or 4 years back. Horrible situation. But a good kid and a good parent. Peace and Blessings
  14. Why do you compare home schooling to a closet? That is like saying that since Richardson Texas has amazing public schools that all public schools are amazing or that since Modesto CA schools are so pitiful that all public schools are pitiful. For some reason, your social outlook on home schooling is the way it is. Perhaps it is not very wide or deep in your experience? My friend home schools. The girls are in the theater, gymnastics, tai kwon do, swimming lessons, Chinese school, meet at least once a week with approx 20 other parents and children and do arts, crafts, tad pole hunting, etc. Sure, I have a friend that homes schools and does 1/10th of that and their kids are not socially well set up. But just like schools, home schools are just as varied and in the last 20 years they are very robust and do all sorts of things in huge and small groups. Perhaps you are a little tainted by your family's situation? Peace and Blessings
  15. But this is not something school in and of itself really teachers. Maybe recess, lunch, and PE do. But it is not something that home school kids can not get just as easily. But I agree that not all parents ensure that they do get it. Just like a lot of kids sit and be quiet introverts at school and never get it either. As much the person as the environment would you not agree? Peace and Blessings
  16. Yea. But that is learned over the years. Lousy co-workers and managers, irritating neighbors, other drivers, people on web forums. Things that one does not learn too much about in the formative years when the world still revolves around them. That starts more in the 8 to 10 plus ages and later. Peace and Blessings
  17. Sorry Nick, but I am confused. What do you mean? Maybe I missed something or read it wrong? Peace and Blessings
  18. So, he should be blaming Bush for starting it AND Obama for continuing it? I can go for that. Peace and Blessings
  19. I would just like to say that this is probably one of the most thought out and thought provoking posts you have had in a while Jelly! :hysterical: Peace and Blessings
  20. There is a huge difference between learning social skills and learning proper or appropriate social skills. Kids will learn what they are taught and required and expected of them. Teachers do not spend time on social skills. That is not their job. 90% of social skills, in my opinion are learned at home. Be they appropriate or inappropriate. Home schooling is a great way to go. If the children are not social it is too often because the parents are not either. Public school does not markedly change that. Personally, I think most kids these days have no social skills because their parents do not and don't care and are not there to expect it or teach it or maintain it. Some of us are different. Say to my sons "How are you?" and they will respond "Well, and you?" They have been doing it that since they were ~5 because that is what we teach them. Be amazed at how many adults are taken aback by the proper English and Appropriate response. My youngest just stated to be able to use the phone. I told him he needs to introduce himself BEFORE he starts asking questions. None of this call a friend and say "Is Tommy there?". So when he calls me if he beats me home he will call and say "Hello. This is Matthew XXXXXXX. Hi dad. Can I play on the computer?" It is very cool and I laugh inside each time as he introduces himself to me. We have many home school friends here in MN. One common theme that does appear to ring true through all of them is that they are late to everything. So we start to wonder if they simply can not get their kids to bed on time, up on time, to school on time, and pick them up on time? So instead they home school. That just seems to be the common thread with the 5 or so we know specifically. Peace and Blessings
  21. Big Bird grills Michelle O on birth certificate Peace and Blessings
  22. Awesome!!! Very proud of you. That is the way to do it. Consider this. Doing anything like too much alcohol, drugs, etc. tends to stop or retard our maturing. 10 years of heavy drugs or alcohol can make a 40 year old act like they are 30. It stunts us emotionally, psychologically, in all sorts of ways. The more you drink the more you are self medicating to avoid life. Now, you have chosen to move in a different direction. Consider things as they happen to you know before you act. You are upon a whole new path that will lead to a lot of growth potential for you personally, perhaps in relationships, etc. Just take it calm and easy. Speed is not the issue. Direction is. Go forward calm and easy knowing that there are many people that you know and don't know that will be happy to find out that you are changing. Many will never say anything because they simply do not know how. Take the time to consider and enjoy new or forgotten aspects of life. Peace and Blessings
  23. Sorry. I don't follow. Adam had everything that God gave him. That included intelligence. He did not put them out into the world with out the ability to think, count, etc. They had to provide for themselves. Pretty hard to do that if you can not count. How man seeds do I have, how many to plant in each hole in each row, how many rows, etc. They had nothing to build on. But that did not mean that very early on they could not build and construct things. Man did not exist. That does not preclude God from delivering the narrative later. Which came first. Literally which? The chicken or the egg? Peace and Blessings
