DTP chairman said the grievance will be settled for $3000, maybe a little less. IUAW aleady knows and just not announcing it yet.

Heard Friday over 300 people have signed up for transfers out of DTP, how the hell are they going to let that many people go? Nobody wants to transfer to this plant so I cant see them letting that many people go.

I know a couple of people that turned it down because they were told 40 hrs only and it wasnt worth it to them because they live so far away.

I thought nobody could work overtime in a layoff week or is this just allowed at DTP with our great union?.....most of the people in there working are getting 12 hrs a day & working tomorrow

According to our plant manager at our town hall meeting yesterday is that we still cost the company $6 or $7 more an hour than the transplants.

I'd like to say thanks to all the dumbass people that drove in a foot of snow last week since Ford didn't say it to you. I stayed home took an official northern "Carolina Holiday" and got paid short w.w....what happen to the extra pay you all were suppose to get for coming in? Bend over and take it!
