It's sad when gas prices are climbing and ranger sells are dropping. Ford has really screwed up that truck. I know a few people who have them and my 150 gets just as good gas mileage as they do.

Have you noticed how many expi and navis are being sold. It doesn't make any sense to keep them around. The days of $45,000 vehicles that get 12 mpg are gone and I don't see them returning anytime soon. I hope I'm wrong cause I hate little cars. Good luck to all you guys. We at NAP are going to let everyone know they are shutting down all their best plants and we're going to take the co. down with us. Not that they need our help, they're doing a good enough job of running it into the ground on their own.

I don't think dealers are really looking foward to getting the new expedition. They don't have anybody to buy the ones setting around now.

With the # of trucks being sold now they could decide to only build when the temp is between 70 -80 and we could still supply all the dealers. We are toast in a few more weeks.

You must be crazy to think any plant is safe. This company is screwed. It's just a matter of time before all the gates are padlocked. This co. is a joke.

Except what is the vehicle Ford builds that this group of people is going to buy? They only have one that has any style and it's made in Mexico and they only have one with any power and that's the mustang and it's no speed demon. And no comment on the quality of any of them.

We've been told we were the backbone of the co. also and see where it got us. The SD made alot of money for Ford but it has also lost alot of customers with the pos 6.0. I know to many who have had problems with them and won't buy another. I've gotten a few people x plans for them and they want their 7.3's back. I can tell you it doesn't take long to go from the top to the bottom. Ford losing 150 and 250 profits it won't be long before the rest of the co. feels the effects.

Sounds good to me. I need to start getting use to making less money anyways. Might as well get some cash up front for it.

Money being spent in a plant has nothing to do with it remaining open. That would make sense. Remember we're talking about Ford here. What doesn't make sense is building a big underpowered vehicle that gets terrible gas mileage which nobody wants and then decide to make it bigger and have the same powertrain. I'm sure it's going to be a big hit.

I saw on the news a few months back that there was a chinese protest about their jobs being outsourced to lower paying countries. I'm sure they were our jobs to begin with. I thought that was funny too.
