Pull the battery cable for a few minutes. Other than that it’s a dealer issue. They’ll probably try reloading the software but might require a new apim.

That wasn’t directed at you or anyone here (although it would be apropos to a couple of folks). There is a car group on Facebook that is over the top declaring EVs are dead and nobody wants them.
The factory interval on gasoline vehicles is roughly 8000 miles, give or take. Most recommend changing every 5k to be safe. I would assume the same is true for diesel. Factory intervals are the bare minimum to get by.
Some costs are capitalized but not all. E.g. all the people working on next gen batteries and platforms and yet to be released vehicles are an expense with zero revenue.
Ahh….nothing more than a doa battery and they forgot to reset the Battery Management System. No worries at all.
Just FYI the term buy back implies Lincoln bought it back but it sounds like the customer just traded it in on something else which is completely different.
Seems to me most folks looking to replace 3-4 yr old vehicles would have leased them anyway.
What I don’t understand is people who are upside down either on cars or homes just walking away. You only lose money if you sell. Just keep the vehicle or house and you’ll eventually catch up without trashing your credit score.
