i agree, KTP will be working steady after we get retooled. i dont see chicago, lima engine, or buffalo stamping having the long time job security that KTP does

can someone help me find clothing made in the USA? are levi's made here? old navy clothing is made in cambodia. american eagle isnt made here either if im not mistaken. im afraid if we want cloting made in the USA we may all be running around naked.

im not supporting anyone trying to keep unions out of anywhere. i dont give a shit if wal-mart gets a union or not, other than thier prices would go higher. i dont want union benefits, i already have them. how do you know wether i support the fight for unions or not. like birdman said.....take a chill pill

i agree with you about ford building cars in mexico as well. i also just read an article about the expedition being the most american vehicle, and thats great. but, i truly dont believe wether i shop at wal-mart, meijers, krogers, or whatever the town grocer is that its an effective difference. i have yet to see clothing made in the usa, with the exception of maybe carharrt and levi's(and im not even sure about them cuz i havent looked). if im not mistaken, i recall hearing that even "american eagle" clothing isnt even made in america. so i believe we are in a no win situation when it comes to everyday purchases, but when it comes to cars, lawnmowers, and other big purchases, yes by buying american.....we can make a difference

why yes, i am a ford worker. and the proud owner of a 2007 mustang gt and a 2004 F150. im not talking about saving money buying kia's or hondas, im talking about saving money at the grocery store, and the gas station. i am loyal to this piece of shit company, why? i dunno? they sure dont give a fuck about me, you or our families. this company is being milked for every last nickel by mr. mulally and his cronies at the top. if he indeed gave a rats ass about us, maybe he would take a pay cut to help the financial status of the company. when i eventually lose my job at ford, i will know exactly what caused it, and its not because i didnt buy thier products. so take you "buy union and buy american" slogan and shove it in your ass. .....oh yeah, it won't fit cuz your head is in it

dont know where ya heard that one but todd bryant said yesterday that theres a "slight" possibility we may be down the month of december. i dont believe that scumbag as far as i can throw him so i just took it with a grain of salt. i dont believe anything until i see it.

thanks good article. fors will be in trouble until they get rid of this pathetic management team. i know its not just the supervisors fault. they are just doing what they are told. but someone needs to step up and make some responsible descisions, or this company is done. ......gone........ no more. these people arent worried about 200 years from now, its like they know global warming is real or something

thats an incredible post. i knew that fords management was controlled by a select few at the top. KTP is in shambles, you would not believe the way that place is run. todd bryant is a freaking idiot, as are most of the superintendents. lower level supervision are like "drones" for the head "drone". i have personally witnessed some of the most ignorant decisions you can imagine. i dont know who all reads these posts, but i wish someone would read this that can do something about the way this company is run, or its gonna be run into the ground. i have worked for ford for 15 yrs and have witnessed this change. in 1996 when ford started hiring these new supervisors fresh out of college, whom none of which had any idea how to run an assembly line, was the begining of the end. i hope someone can change things or no of us will be retiring from this once great company

well, KTP is getting the expedition and navigator and my worry is getting these trucks up and running. our pathetic management cant even have a model year change without it being total chaos, so if they are gonna do this, management better get thier heads out of thier asses and do it. i hope it can be done, but im worried.
