Your right the union is a joke here. They let management do as they want. Im a 19 year guy that's a floater with new hires below me. The local agreement here is a mess. I see another complete office change again.

Whoops start at 6. Nights I believe is 3:30 not sure though.

2 shifts. 8.5 starting Jan. 3 then still 2 shifts Jan. 23 4 days 10 hrs. C- crew to start April 09. Thats what we've been told.

How about taking the company car program,that pays there car insurance and maintnance away? How much will that save ?

I keep reading about this" no strike clause", arbitration, etc.. And the union reps seem to think it's not that big of a deal. I ask one question. Why does the company want it so bad ?

Don't worry about the vote. If there is plans to move you, they are already in place. The company does what it wants. These promises are just to get what they want. See what happens down the road.

There hasn't been any talk of negotiations over here. But we have been having plant meetings with company on how we need to keep helping the company so Ford can survive. So I think we will hear about concessions soon.

The message I got was concessions,concessions concessions. He said we all need to keep working together to make Ford competitive with the others. We are a family. Yeah right !! They don't give a crap about us. Were just a number. He said we need to find a way to build the cars at MAP in a way that makes it profitable. Cuts,cuts more cuts. Thats the message I got. I have that insurance and I believe I have a yearly deductible of $300. And I still pay 50% office visits. But the plus side is I go to just about any doctor I want. No referrals.

That was on my initial claim. My 26 weeks ran out in April, then I had to file for UE. My claim started back in June of 08. Your unemployment should start over in july.

I was on UE for a week and my checks stayed the same.

All of us from MTP that were suppose to go to engine were told our postings were cancelled and we were sent back to WAP on the 27th. We were told those postings should of never went up. Good luck.

Was told today everyone that was going to Woodhaven and engine are coming back to WAP on the 27th. Buddy with 94 sen. got the call Weds. There's about 50 of us. Sorry guys tried to leave so you could stay.

Actually we were told the positions were open all ready and that we were replacing buyouts and retired people. But apparently that was BS. So now we sit and wait. Sorry for trying to go to a open job so someone else could stay at Wayne.

They're not counting against us, As long as were TLO. And there is people that are signed up for DTP as there second preference if engine doesn't take us. Were hearing now that 900 is going to wait to see how many buyouts come out of engine so we could possibly be placed. Guess we will wait till may 22 now. And if none of these options become available we will be placed back at Wayne. Good luck everyone.

If your from MTP the rumor is were going back to WAP until the openings we signed up for are actually open. Don't know how true. And you have to register at Mi Works this week if your Un-employment runs out this week. That is a fact. Went today.

38 that were suppose to go to engine and 12 waiting on Woodhaven. Talked to Jr. yesterday and he didn't say anything like that. Then again nobody in the union knows what's going on.

Wow that's funny i'm one of those 50 and I didn't hear that. As a matter a fact I was told to register at M Works today so that I can file for extended un-employment benefits. Yipeee. Who told you that anyway?

I was told by our chairman that they are going to give you one chance to accept production. If you turn it down and you run out your sub and tap, your out. So the benefit would be you still have a job. I don't know if this is true but I would find out for sure if I was in that position.

Don't know when were going but I bet it's soon. Our Un- enjoyment runs out next week. Then we get full sub. So I think we will work somewhere.
