i have to strongly, yet respectfully, disagree with my buddy lapsergio. at LAP, our FPS/CIWG was a total failure mainly due to the fact that team leader was a bid job. a person doesn't get to be the best person to lead a team by having the most seniority. our system at LAP would have always been far better if those jobs were appointed by the members of each team. in theory, work gropus working with mgmt should be able to resolve issues and make things better for all parties. but when the leader is not a leader, but simply the oldest guy there, the system is failed from the start.
