    i use turbotax too. and i think you are either full of shit, or making some mistakes. since 1998 my wife and i have always made between $71,000 and $75,000 combined. and the tax cuts save my family at least a few thousand dollars annually. i still pay way too much in taxes, but its a start.

    lets be serious here. the tax cut for working people, like most of us, was FAR more than $600 7 years ago. his tax cuts save my family almost $2,200 every year. and blaming bush for rising oil prices is almost as ridiculous as blaming him for fords failure to produce vehicles that people wish to buy.

    the dallas cowboys have had less success under the bush administration, than they did under clinton. i blame bush....face it, americans are buying more cars than ever..they just don't want the crap that ford is selling.

    i live in indiana and work at LAP. i wouldn't have it any other way. i live in a great middle class neighborhood, and i get to the plant in 17 minutes. great schools, lower taxes, better local gov't.......etc. feel free to PM me if you want any info.

    ups does not want, need, or desire the land. not that any of that has anything to do with the plants future, but ups has no plans for the land.

    I'm a UL fan, and i can tell you there are tons of empty seats at every game. most fans just come to drink beer, fans like me that love the game fo football are the minority. and our basketball teams sucks major ass.

    a slightly bigger ranger would take away some f-150 sales. but mainly the low end f-150's that are not very profitable due to huge rebates.

    thats not entirely true. but it is correct that most at LAP signed up just to play it safe and don't plan on taking it. between 600-700 will take it definitely. likely just enough to cover lost jobs due to a line speed reduction.

    i have lunch with one of the atlanta guys every night. he told me that he hasn't heard of any of them having any problems. but they were told horror stories about transferring before making the move. your plant got absolutely screwed, no way we should be building that fusion in mexico. we're just glad that people that want to work are able to have jobs.

    from my understanding, the atlanta transfers are comlpete. all 312 made it to louisville. i have a few in my area and made it a point to make them feel at home. they all told me they had no problems with anybody.

    you can't get unemployment when you quit your job. when you take a buyout, you are quitting your job.

    man, its really common sense. you work the prior year to earn time for your vacation. so yes, you would get your vacation pay. on the x-mas bonus. no. why would they give a "bonus" to somebody that is not an employee?
