  1. 2012 SE Hatchback automatic, 28 around town, up to 41 on highway with air conditioner off, typically 31 combined with air on. Ecomode shows me with all green petals and Advanced Eco Champion.
  2. No, I would not prefer a wood dash in a Mustang. What I was talking about is the HARD plastic on the doors and dash top. My last Mustang (04) had padded doors and the dash top was a soft material of the same color as the rest of the interior. My 99 ZX2 had a very rich interior compared to either Mustang. I do not like the current trend of most cars having a black dash top. My Mustang has the IUP and the padded door inserts, but many do not.
  3. Where is the center armrest? It is a step backwards in my opinion without it. Is the dash top still hard black plastic? What I do not like about the current Mustang is the hard plastic door panels and dash top. I also prefer the dash match the rest of the interior. I am not planning on replacing my '06 GT for what I've seen of the '10.
  4. I'm not buying into this global warming scam. From the information I have been hearing over the years, the most likely cause of any global warming is sunspot activity. There has also been a deterioration of the quality and number of temperature tracking stations. I have also seen graphs of what would happen if the US spent almost a trillion dollars a year on CO2 abatement and if we do nothing for the next twenty years. The difference is almost imperceptible. The only difference is we will all be dead of starvation due to a total economic collapse. Here is a link of some scientific data: http://schnittshow.970wfla.com/globalwarming.html
  5. The only Ford product on the Least Reliable list is the Lincoln Mark LT.
  6. I have been having this problem for the last few months in my 06 Mustang GT. I rarely let the gas down to a quarter tank. The first time it happened was after a fast, sharp left turn off the highway. I had a half tank of gas, but the gas gauge went to empty. I looked online and found a TSB for this problem so I brought the car in to the dealer for repair. They had the car all day and replaced both sender units. As I was halfway home, the gauge went to empty again! I turned around and went back to the dealer. They gave me a free loaner car and fixed it the next day. A few weeks later it happened again and they fixed it again. It then did it again, so I took it to another dealer, and it started doing it again! The interesting thing is when the MYCOLOR is set to blue, the gas gauge turns red when empty. I also get at computer error message displayed when the gauge goes to empty. I keep track of how many miles I have on a tank of gas, I can't trust the gauge. It does not stay on empty, it just goes up and down. It goes to empty the fuller the tank is. Does anybody have a similar problem? I love everything else about the car.
  7. I had an 04 Mustang GT Deluxe and now have an 06 Gt Premium. I do not like the hard plastic on the doors or the black dash top as much as the padded vinyl of the 04. I do like everything else better on the 06 though. The back seat doesn't look any roomier, but it is a thousand times more comforatable, very nicely shaped. The 04 was much more reliable, I just got mine back from service today after having the eradic gas gauge fixed for the third time. It would say empty and show a DTE computer error on the display. The cool thing was with the my color set to blue, the gas gauge would turn red when reading empty. I was told the fuel sensors were ruined by high sulfer gas. I get a lot of compliments on it and do not get much worse gas mileage than with the last couple of four cylinder cars I had. I ger around 20 mpg and my 97 Goe prism (Toyota Corola) got about 23 and had no power at all.
