  1. I'm curious, why are the Focus' trim levels S, SE, and SES while the rest of the car lineup is S, SE, SEL, Limited? I know the SES badge was used in the past but why not have it be SEL to fit in with the rest of the lineup?
  2. I would think with 6-speeds spreading throughout the rest of the lineup, a 6-speed for the Mustang would only be appropriate. Not to mention the performance and fuel economy improvements.
  3. How do you feel about the fender vent? A friend of mine likes it, but I don't...I think the vent would've looked better over the body crease above the wheel arch, like where the Taurus' is, or and BMW 6 or M3 has it's vents.

  5. I know there's an Infinit G35 coupe near me that has Nissan and Skyline GT-R badging.
  6. Emissions regulations are the biggest factor in diesel engine price and efficiency, IMO. The current and coming regulations are requiring the addition of many fairly expensive and fuel economy robbing technologies. As you implied, I don't think diesels are viable in the American market yet, except for in large 3/4 and 1/2 ton (1/2 ton to an extent) trucks....and with the aforementioned technologies, the seemingly only advantages to having a diesel, at least at the moment, is for towing abilities, not so much fuel economy and certainly not price.
  7. Thats good, because it talked quite a bit before she could say who she wanted to call, etc. Is it an option you can change through the system (going to an options menu) or do you need to do it at the dealer or in some other way?
  8. I agree.....with all of your statements. The Murano and FX have been uglified (less so on the FX) compared to their previous generations on the outside, but have made good improvements on the interior front.
  9. That's possible, and of course it could just be picture quality or many other reasons, but it appears that the panel gap in that one spot isn't too good. A freind of mine's dad has an FX35 and it's not that bad on the current model.
  10. I too noticed that about the Malibu's interior. I sat in one at the auto show, a high end version in fact, and wasn't overly impressed by it's design or materials. I've also sat in a Fusion and it uses nice soft touch materials all over the cabin. Hopefully this will continue to spread throughout the lineup.
  11. I think it'll do even better when the new engines/transmissions arrive.
  12. Well, I believe you're right that it's a 6, but upside down. Oh well, it still gets the point across doesn't it?
