  1. You mentioned the top of dash display. While I agree with you about display placement, the idea is that your line of eyesight is closer to the road. To me, with this new system, you now have to look 2 places rather than one, causing even longer time looking away from the road, but I suppose you will 1)get used to it and/or 2)be able to use the steering wheel controls as well (if equipped).
  2. Press releases have said there will be a 1 mpg improvement across the board.
  3. Yes, those are heated and cooled (FINALLY!) 10-way power front seats, along with a power tilt steering column.
  4. On this picture, what is the small cutout/box type thing under the seat by the passenger side rear door? Is it a storage box?
  5. For a Lariat model, I'd imagine you'd just have to picture a King Ranch for the most part, similar to the current difference between the two.
  6. It's been like that for some time now, it seems.
  7. I dont feel like looking for the pictures right now, but yes, it will offer one, with an 8" screen. It integrates very nicely into the center stack and does remove some of the buttons that are present on non-nav models.
  8. It's the German separate-stalk-for-everything influence kicking in there. I like how Ford integrates it into the steering wheel buttons.
  9. The Platinum model will fit in above the King Ranch, but will offer a lot: heated and cooled 10-way power front seats, power tilt steering column, power deployable running boards, etc.
  10. That's all you can come up with? The gauge pointers are pathetic? The Platinum model has a power tilt steering column, heated and cooled 10-way power seats, integrated trailer brake system, along with tons of other goodies.
  11. That's only the FX4 interior as well! http://jalopnik.com/photogallery/FordF150p...=thumb1280x1280 There's the Platinum interior. Unfortunately this doesn't show the 8" nav system (which does, BTW get rid of some buttons)
  12. I noticed that the 'RAM BOX' took up bed space as well.
  13. I think this line sums it all up. "Retooling this top selling pickup is a difficult task. But the 2009 F-150 hits the mark -- inside and out." I'm also glad to see that the seats are now 10-way power along with the heated AND cooling functions (first for a truck I believe). To me a truck would be one of the vehicles you'd want A/C seats in.
  14. Here's another article: http://jalopnik.com/344143/detroit-auto-sh...ics-and-details
  15. I agree, while the storage box is a nice thing to have it does look awkward. The front is ugly too.
  16. I think it's great looking for a b-car.
  17. That's possible. Then again, maybe they just picked a letter out of a hat.
  18. Seemingly any establishment that publishes anything.
  19. http://jalopnik.com/344209/detroit-auto-sh...d-verve-concept There's that article as well. It includes a Ford press release and pics.
  20. It's very easy to go up 79% when sales were nonexistent before.
  21. Hey by that time, you may recover the $$$ it cost you to buy the thing in gas savings!
  22. I happen to like the new F-150.
