i agree fully toyota truck interior looks like a design job from 15 years ago....dodge and ford have finally figured it out...its not what you think we want it is what WE want (detroit arrogance)...these new trucks are so vastly superior to the toyota it is not even funny...any body who thinks toyota is as of today a superior vehicle is just a moron...ive waited years for ford,dodge and chevy to finally wake up and quit pushing crap down our throats we did not want...finally detroit gets it.......

i am buying either ford or dodge..all i care about is having room to hold the 4 wheeler and occasional load of dirt...i do not need a true work truck with massive amounts of payload..if i did i would buy the f250 or dodge 2500...these 2 trucks are finally designed for intended audience,,,city slickers and soccer mommies...you can bash the ram or f150 all you want..nobody will give a crap because they both look terrific and are what we have been asking for for years-dodge and ford seem to have finally gotten it..

i just put my deposit down on the new dodge ram...dealer did have $12,000 adm markup due to demand..thats what i got from the salesman...i thought that was fair for such a vehicle..seriously ford is great..now i have to chose between the ram and the f150 for my new truck...i love em both equally..just like kids

diesel a very long shot..4 cyclinders in base mustangs i could see...fuel prices at $3.75 fuel predicted around here by spring..i would hate to see it..but mustang has had a 4cyclinder in the past..your thoughts?

conventional wisdom says yes...the naysayers are the group that paid anywhere from 5k to 20k adm fee and dosent want price deals on the gt500...i say too bad..if your that stupid to pay adm fee you get what you deserve...by april we should know the answer..09 production will have to start late june/july time frame

snow mexican..go figure..well guys i have looked at all makes of vehicles before making a well researched decision...this does include toyoda and hunda which does offer a greater trade in value..problem is cost of parts for the foreign cars is expensive...i have not bought a car in years...only trucks...i am waiting for the new 2009 f150 as well as the new dodge ram...i will thouroughly research each truck and make my decision off my research...so either ford or dodge will get my hard earned cash...i also shop at walmart..so price is important...uaw needs to get their head out their asses and get the cost down on vehicles.i will not pay for same lame ass putting a lug nut on my truck who makes $30 an hour...screw that...paying for that is just plain stupid..point is the uaw as well as corporate needs to start cooperating on how best to build a top quality vehicle at a price we can afford to buy that can COMPETE with the imports...until this happens imports are going to keep getting market share from the big 3...

buy the challenger brand and rename it mustang...buy dodge ram and rename it F150..seriously one less car manufacturer would be good news for ford

i would agree the shelby gt needs some serious rethinking on the part of ford...sadly i love mustangs, but the shelbygt needs to go away..it is not worth 40 grand for that car....and yes the hood scoop looks like a jc whitney product from 1982..it is a piece of crap....this car should have been a gt350 and equipped as such...get with it ford....we are all not lame-o's out here

here is why..my 4 wheeler rag had a quick note about the lincoln truck being discontinued...i never knew lincoln offered a truck...lincoln needs to advertise a little more and get far far away from being the car for blue hairs

it has been a good 25 year run for toyota and a 25 year hell hole for domestic manufactures..i am glad to finaly see toyota begin to finally have quality problems..toyota was small and was able to control quality and costs..they are now suffering from the same geowth problems faced by big 3...it is also good to see the united auto worker has finally seen the light...get with the program or end up with a job at wendys...this is only going to be good for the big 3, the union, and the country as a whole..i am glad to see toyota finally struggle

well..we all want ford to highly succeed...as most if not all here are dedicated ford enthusiast..at time argments ensue of this or that direction ford should take...but in the end common ground is our desire for ford success...the taurus is well the taurus...basically a no fun package for the blue hairs.whats sad is the new malibu and GM (add japanese as well) in general is killing ford midsize passenger sales...is anybody really surprised the taurus is a flop?...the midsize car segment at ford needs some major major work

here is the problem with ford...got me a new 4 wheeler mag (yea i love jeeps) and read about lincoln discontinuing its pick-up truck..problem is i never knew lincoln had a truck in the line-up...i mean you think lincoln and blue hairs come to mind

ergo is of vital importance to me on the new f150...i have to have enuff room in the quad seat for the old lady and me..its gets real lonely on west bound I90 heading out of sioux falls :happy feet: seriously i want ford to have a great selling and work horse of a truck..rehashing the old engines is not the way to go

just got my newest car rag (motor trend) and must say the gt 500 seats in the bullitt look darn fine...it would be nice if ford placed those better seats throughout the line up...just my 2 cents..but i think ford nailed the bullitt..nice nice stang....

like i said in a previous post..the f150 may be a nice truck..however it only good for towing a load of johnny on the spots...i just dont understand why the rehash of the old horribly under powered engines from previous generations are still being used...my dodge ram puts the present ford truck to shame....lets hope ford does this right and gets a world class f150 again

i would take that trans am over a camaro..alas the chances of a trans am are about nil at this point..lets just hope shelby rolls out a real gt350 and not that wannabe shelbyGT..i swear i just do not get ford marketing..we want the cars yet they refuse to build...

ford has not had a truck since 1996 and since then i have not bought a ford truck..i had 300k plus miles on my 86 f150 until the body crapped out...the 300six still ran stong and did not use oil...my old man has an 1996 f150 with about 30k on it and refuses to even consider a new ford truck..old man says they are not trucks anymore...ford are you listening..i want the darn female engineers out of the truck center and back doing something else like working on that pathetic fusion....the complaint about ford trucks not being able to pull a load from 1997 onward is prevalent...contrators pullng heavy loads have dumped fords for dodges...and for good reason...fords cannot pull anything but a load of johnny on the spots....

my old man conservative in all ways except when it comes to cars has never bought what i would consider boring cars..my mom as well will not ever be seen in the like of a boring car...no hondas here...kinda off topic but i remeber a day in 1977 the old man takes off and comes home with a 1977 mustang ghia 2...just like the 1 in charlies angles..car was ok for the time...but i had the boss 2 back then and well..the 74 to 78 mustangs r not for me..but as stated elsewhere..it really was not a bad car..the best part being the front end...it actually went straight down the road and not like the earlier stangs which were horrendous due to the crappiest front suspension in the industry..simply horrible...

any pics yet of new 09 stang..maybe jalloplink or whatever has new spy pics..i cant find...also i heard he 09 stang gt base engine is now good for 350ish hp....any word from the stang guru's would be appreciated..your pal snooter
